My first dog over 20 years ago! Through him I started my lifelong desire of understanding these sentient beings. I began reading books on positive reinforcement and science backed reward based dog training. And taking classes! I added two more dogs to my family along with fostering several dogs and one foster failure. I began helping family and friends with their pet care needs when they couldn't be home as some dogs are calmer and happier at home rather than in a kennel. My passion for dogs kept me in continuing education courses after my BA in Psychology to continue my professional growth. I also really love watching dogs learn in a positive force free environment. When dogs are given this opportunity in their lives, they flourish!
